About Us

2003 is when Eddie Perez Creator/OwnerOperator of HolyScriptShirts started getting filled with visions of T shirt designs that were also inspired by his love for Christ and pleasing to his fashion interest for sneakers.

At the time he wasn’t a designer, he quit his job in construction and started working at a screen printing company where he learned the business from the ground up.   His talents and work ethics soon made him an industry leader in the Orlando area.  In 2008 he opened up his own screen printing business called Tees Me Apparel located in Longwood Florida but was forced to shut down his doors after only 9 months due to the untimely premature birth of his precious twins Mia and Maya.

As high school sweethearts, Eddie and his wife, Lizzette Perez (a Radio Personality in Orlando for over 20 yrs)  spent 4 months at Winnie Palmer Hospital caring for their girls and praying that they will live and thrive after being born as micro preemies 16 weeks premature.  At 24 weeks gestational age Maya weighed just 1lb 3oz and Mia was under a pound at a tiny 15oz.  Today the girls are 6 years old and have Cerebral Palsy but praise God they are alive. They also have a 9 year daughter Melinda who learned how to snap her fingers at just 6 months old and wants to be a scientist when she grows up!

Since the girls have been home and life slowly became normal again, Eddie desired to start his business up again, this time only to focus on a brand that is a ministry first to glorify God and help you wear your faith.  He likes to refer to his designs as Christian Urban Wear or Positive street wear.  Eddie says, “With fashion being such a huge influence in our society, I like to wear thought provoking clothes that I can still wear to church and reaches out with positive messages to our youth and the whole entire family.”
